Our bank recently informed us that they're closing our branch and getting out of the deposit box business. We have documents, but no bars of gold or real jewelry. Instead of getting a safe, this works as a great solution for us. Fortunately, we haven't tried the box in a fire or flood, but who knows what might happen. Very heavy! We're pleased.

I was looking for something to replace safe that would protect documents from fire and water. This is just what I was looking for. Wheels are a great addition. I am going to buy one as a gift fir daughter.

The Honeywell 1108 is very strong and sturdy. The lid is easy to open and uses a hydraulic lever to close tightly.

My only issue was it was too heavy for me to lift onto the rolling base. Otherwise it's exactly what I needed.

This security box is true to the description. It's definitely worth buying the wheel cart so you can easily move this heavy object. The hydraulic latch is a very considerate feature - no mashed fingers as you close the weighty lid.

We are very pleased with the quality of our Legal Size safe. The assembly of the roller bracket was very easy and all our stuff fits in it quite well. We were able to move the legal size folders from our file cabinet directly into the safe.

Protecting your papers etc from fire/water you will find nothing better. The chest is very well made,and large enough to hold the average home owners important papers. Great value for the money. I highly recommend it.

After being 5 blocks from the edge of the Fish fire, I thought about the important papers that could have been lost. It was time. However, most fire boxes are too small to hold legal docs. This chest was a perfect answer. Reasonably priced with free shipping,the product was delivered the next day due to our proximity to the company. Tbe rollers were easy to assemble with a screwdriver and small wrench. The case is quite heavy 80 lbs., so the wheels are needed for most people to move the case. Ultimately, I cant tell you how well the case withstands fire and water beyond the manufacturers claims, and I hope I never can tell you from personal experience. What this chest does do is provide a sense of security--peace of mind. Ahhhh!

Exactly what I needed to protect important household documents. Just the right size as well - would definitely recommend buying with the wheel cart, especially if you need to access the contents frequently

Once the item finally arrived after 13dys and 4 attempts to track our purchased item the product seems to be durable and well made. Its what we needed and looked for and finally found through Honeywell store.

Finding a fire/water resistant chest that could hold legal sized files was a challenge. I found the Honeywell 1108 after much internet research. It is a great product and I am glad to have found it. It is sturdy and well built.
