This little safe worked well for 4 or 5 years after it was installed. Then, suddenly, with no warning and with no apparent reason it malfunctioned. The yellow proceed lite came on and the combination I normally used could not even be entered. The emergency over-ride key likewise will not work. It appears to be hopelessly jammed. I have some very valuable objects inside the safe which I must, one way or another, retrieve. I have contacted Honeywell customer service and have gotten absolutely nowhere. I now face calling in a locksmith who will charge an arm and a leg and will most likely have to tear out the wall resulting in thousands of dollars in repair. At this point I can only say: stay away from installing this wall safe!

Good Price-Good Safe

Ordered this safe and installed in my closet on my wall using the mounting bolts included. Over nice product, sturdy design. Mounting bolts are strong enough to hold heavy items in safe. The underside of the safe had a few scratches but its not that big of a deal as you normally will not see that area. It would have been nice if the provided a tracking number. Overall nice safe, comes with everything you need including clear instructions. Might buy another one for a roommate to use.
