The RTH21B features "Flexible Scheduling," which allows you to choose the programming style that best fits your lifestyle. You can set a 7-day (every day different), 5-1-1 (weekdays, Saturday, and Sunday separate), 5-2 (weekdays vs. weekend), or a 1-week (every day the same) schedule. You can also disable the schedule for manual operation.

Does this thermostat require a C-wire?

No. The X2P is powered by two AA batteries (not included). This battery-powered design makes it an ideal choice for DIY enthusiasts and older homes where a C-wire (Common wire) is not present, as it eliminates the need for complex rewiring.
