The Honeywell FC37B1030 Commercial Electrostatic Cell features an interchangeable mechanic that can be utilized to mix and match your residential cell FC37A1064. This is an excellent upgrade for the following models: F50A, F50E, F50F and F300A 20x25 series. The primary difference between this and other units is that the commercial cell is comprised of heavier gauge platinum. The FC37B1030 weighs 8.5 lbs where as the FC37A1064 weighs 7 lbs. The Collector Plates on the FC37B1030 are 28 gauge, while the FC37A1064 use 30 gauge.
This unit also includes a plastic handle. The handle can mount on either end of the cell. This opens up the option for the cell to be rotated and used with air flowing in either direction. It is recommended that you determine the side of the cell that will be facing the handle before installing.
