Customer Reviews For The Honeywell Allergen Plus HEPA Compact Tower Air Purifier
Product Reviews
My Son Using This Honeywell Air Purifier is Good Service.
I am very happy with the HEPA advantage. This machine “cleans” the air. Fans just blow it around like a dust bowl. Mike B
I love it. It works really well. Easy to work. Only have had it a short time,
It does its job to the max. Buy it. It Rocks! Easy to move and the options make sense. I let it run all day in my bedroom and I notice how clean the air is.
This air purifier works very well in our master bedroom. We've only had it a week and it's already done an excellent job of removing visible dust in the air. Our bedroom is 160 square feet so it's bigger then what this unit is rated for, but this unit still works well with pet dander and dust. My wife isn't using tissues as much and hopefully this unit will continue to clean our room. I ordered the larger 3200 model for the living room. I also like the amount of air this unit moves, it kinda doubles as an air circulator which keeps the air in the room from being stagnant in colder weather or when we have the AC on. Overall excellent buy!
I use this purifier in my hair salon. I especially like the cool air that assists my AC!
The unit has a dimmer, which is great, since it would otherwise emit too much light at night. I like the filter notification. It is on the loud side, so for it to be perfect, it would be quieter, but otherwise a nice unit.
It's a very well built machine works great it's compact goes in any crevice we have in the bedroom thank you all for building a good product and filters
We have a larger purifier and this one works the same way. It seems quiet and very easy to use. Looking forward to getting more!
Product FAQs
These home air purifiers have been engineered to capture up to 99.97% of the following microscopic airborne allergens and particles: dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mite debris and smoke. These portable air purifiers use an easy to read VOC sensor that displays the surrounding air quality level. They also implement a custom filtration process via enhanced odor filters, effectively turning them into pet air purifiers, smoke air purifiers and air purifiers for allergies.
The Honeywell HPA080 is a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) air purifier, which means it can remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns and larger. This includes dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores. The portable air purifier also has an activated carbon pre-filter that helps remove odors and VOCs.
The Honeywell HPA080 is rated to clean rooms up to 100 square feet. This makes it a medium room air purifier. However, the actual size of the room that the HPA080 can clean will depend on the level of air pollution in the room.
The Honeywell HPA080 has four settings, and the noise level varies depending on the setting. At the lowest speed, this home air purifier is about as quiet as a whisper. At the highest speed, the portable air purifier is about as loud as a normal conversation.
The Honeywell HPA080 comes with a pre-filter and a HEPA filter. The pre-filter should be replaced every 1-3 months, and the HEPA filter should be replaced every 6-12 months. InSight Air Purifiers can also use enhanced filters that should be replaced every 3 months. The actual replacement schedule will depend on the level of air pollution in the room.
The HPA080 uses Replacement True HEPA Filter G and Replacement Pre-filter A. Optional enhanced odor filters can be used for targeting specific odors.
The filters may be dirty. High amounts of contaminants can block the pores in the filter and stop the air from moving through it. Replace the Filters. The HEPA Filters should be replaced every year and the Pre-Filter and Enhanced Odor and VOC Filters should be replaced every 3 months. Please note these are guidelines only and filters should be checked periodically as individual home conditions may vary. To ensure the unit is performing properly, replace with Certified Genuine Honeywell Filters.
In general, the unit will be most effective when doors and windows are closed. It is recommended that you run your air purifier while you are at home to help clean the air. If desired or conditions warrant, you may run your air purifier 24 hours a day
No. Washing the filters in your air purifier will ruin them.
